Eat! Teach! Run! day 1.

Hi friends!

I'm going to start off my brand-spankin' new blog by saying THANK YOU for stumbling or searching for me! I'm just a girl looking to document my life as a lover of food, teaching, and fitness.

I'm going to work hard to blog daily about my healthy eating adventures, as well as anecdotes about my life as a special education teacher, and bits about my continued efforts to become a real live RUNNER. :)

To start off my blog, I'll post a pic of my delightful dinner-- oatmeal!
oatmeal in a homemade bowl! fancy :)

In the mix:

1/3 cup of steel-cut oats
1 cup of vanilla unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup of dried cranberries and banana chips
1 big tablespoon of pumpkin butter
1 big tablespoon of almond butter
topped with a sprinkling of sliced almond and a few chocolate chips for good measure! ;)

SO GOOD! I had it in my hand-painted bowl, which makes any food a little more interesting!
Thank you to Sarah and Kath for the yummy inspiration!

Now: watching ABC Family's Dr. Seuss specials! And snuggling with my little siamese nugget, Isabelle.
All upppp in my business. <3

 Happy Wednesday evening!
